加拿大政府日前发布了《部分有毒物质禁用法规》(2012，Prohibition of Certain Toxic Substances Regulations)提案进行公众意见征询。
最终发布后，该提案将废除和取代现行的《部分有毒物质禁用法规》(2005)版本，并增加4个禁用物质，如下：
●二苯胺与苯乙烯和2,4,4-三甲基戊烯的反应产物(BNST，benzenamine N-phenyl, reaction products with styrene and 2,4,4-trimethylpentene)
●短链氯化烷烃(short-chain chlorinated alkanes)
●多氯化萘(PCNs，polychlorinated naphthalenes)
●三正丁基氢锡(TBTs，tributyltins)
