网友曝：安捷伦关于中石化“牛郎门”事件的声明

　　近期，有网友接到一份来自安捷伦科技的用户信，详情如下：

Recent blog postings and unconfirmed media reports claim that Agilent won a contract with Sinopec WuHan through improper means, including alleged improper entertainment of a Sinopec employee. The Sinopec employee involved has publicly denied the allegations.

Agilent takes all allegations of employee wrongdoing seriously and we have launched an internal investigation to determine the facts. After a thorough review conducted by outside experts, we have identified no credible evidence to support the salacious and unsupported claims of improper entertainment, gigolos or blackmail in connection with this contract and have no reason to believe they are true. Unfounded rumors – even malicious ones – about a variety of topics often appear in blogs and other media. The fact that they are published does not mean they are true.

At bottom, this appears to be a commercial contracting dispute fostered by disgruntled software distributor that is upset, because their software was not purchased. Agilent is looking into these commercial claims and through its counsel has asked the software distributor to provide any and all evidence to support its assertions of contracting violations. To-date, the distributor has not responded directly to Agilent or its attorneys and instead has launched a series of media postings and threatened a lawsuit.

　　近来，一些微博发帖和未经核实的媒体报道称，安捷伦通过不正当手段，包括所谓的以不正当娱乐款待中石化人员，赢得了中石化武汉项目合同。报道中所指的中石化相关人员已经公开明确地否认了这些传闻。

　　安捷伦一贯严肃对待关于员工不当行为的举报，公司启动了内部调查，以查明真相。目前，通过外部专家的彻底审查，并未发现任何有效证据证实传闻中所指的不正当的娱乐、“牛郎”或与合同有关的敲诈勒索等行为。因此，我们没有任何理由相信这些传闻的真实性。网络论坛和其他媒体上经常出现关于各种话题的毫无根据的流言，有些甚至是恶意中伤，这些流言并不代表事实的真相。

　　究其原因，这件事看起来是由一场商业合同纠纷引起的。由于其代理的软件未被采购，某软件代理商心怀不满。安捷伦正在对这些商务问题进行调查，已经通过法律顾问致函该软件代理商，要求提供支持其主张的相关证据。直至今日，该代理商并未给安捷伦或其委托的律师做出任何直接回应，然而该代理商却发布了一系列媒体文件，并威胁说，要提起诉讼。
