IEC 62386-201:2009 specifies a protocol and methods of test for the control by digital signals of electronic control gear for use on a.c. or d.c. supplies, associated with fluorescent lamps. This part 201 is intended to be used in conjunction with IEC 62386-101 and IEC 62386-102, which contain general requirements for the relevant product type (control gear or control devices). IEC 62386-101, IEC 62386-102 and IEC 62386-201 replace IEC 60929 Edition 3, Clause E.4 "Control by digital signals" and Annex G "Test procedures for ballasts with digital control interface according to Clause E.4".

IEC 60364-5-55:2011 The particular requirements apply to extra-low-voltage lighting installations supplied from sources with a maximum rated voltage of 50 V a.c. or 120 V d.c. For the definition of an extra-low voltage lighting system reference should be made to IEC 60598-2-23. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition, published in 1999, and constitutes a technical revision. The major technical changes with respect to the previous edition are: - the clause numbering is aligned with the present structure of IEC 60364; - references to LED modules and their particular installation requirements have been introduced; - and requirements for cross-sectional area of conductors are modified.

IEC 61821:2011 applies to the maintenance of AGL constant current series circuits. This International Standard: - covers constant current series circuits for AGL installed at aerodromes and heliports; - concentrates on providing the safety requirements for the maintenance of an AGL constant current series circuit. It is recognized that AGL constant current series circuits of different design characteristics and parameters are in existence; - is mainly concerned with safety to persons by specifying the rules and fundamental principles for the maintenance of AGL constant current series circuits; - is not intended to apply to AGL primary series circuits supplied directly from a mains constant voltage source; - is not intended to be used for public street lighting, roadway lighting or any other installation requiring the use of constant current series circuits. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2002. It is a technical revision. This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: a) addition of references to normative references; b) addition of notes in Clauses 5, 6 and 7; c) modification of pre-work procedures in item e) of 7.2.2.
