This part of IEC 60368 specifies the methods of test and general requirements for piezoelectric filters of assessed quality using either capability approval or qualification approval procedures.
Piezoelectric filters. Generic specification
This part of IEC 61994 is a technical specification that gives the terms and definitions for piezoelectric and dielectric filters representing the present state of the art, which are intended for use in the standards and documents of IEC technical committee 49.

This part of IEC 61338 describes the dielectric rod resonator measurement method for a wide range of microwave dielectric properties in practical applications. This method has the following characteristics: - a complete and exact mathematical solution of complex relative permittivity is given by easy computer software; - the measurement error is less than 0,3 % for ε' and less than 0,05 × 10 for tan δ; - the TCF is directly measured without any compensation with a measurement error less than 1 × 10/K. The object of this standard is to describe the measurement methods of the complex relative permittivity of dielectric resonator materials at microwave frequencies by means of the dielectric rod resonator method short-circuited at both ends by parallel conducting plates. The measuring parameters are ε', tan δ, TCF and the temperature dependence of tan δ at the resonance frequency. The dielectric materials are assumed to be isotropic and homogeneous.

This section of IEC 368-2 describes passive band-pass filters operating over the frequency range of a few kHz to more than 10 MHz which are commercially available as separate and independent units. It is not the aim of this standard to explain theory, nor to attempt to cover all the eventualities which may arise in practical circumstances. This standard draws attention to some of the fundamental questions which should be considered by the user before he places an order for a filter for a new application. Such a procedure will be the user's insurance against unsatisfactory performance.

Waveguide type dielectric resonators - Part 1-2: General information and test conditions - Test conditions
Realistic and repeatable criteria, as well as recommended test methods, for characterizing the absorption properties of typical anechoic chamber linings applied to a metallic surface are described. Parameters and test procedures are described for the evaluation of RF absorbers to be used for radiated emissions and radiated susceptibility testing of electronic products, in the absorber manufactured and/or absorber user environment, over the frequency range of 30 MHz to 5 GHz.
