Peak Separation by Adventitious or Added Water in Normal-Phase Chiral HPLC

Abstract: "Trace amounts of water in eluents for normal-phase chiral HPLC can affect peak retention time, tailing, and resolution. Adventitious water can cause irreproducible analyses. Deliberate addition of water to the eluent can improve peak resolution and save analysis time and solvent needs."

ps:   正相手性分离过程中，试剂中偶然引入的微量水分（比如流动相放久了吸收空气中的水分；AR级试剂代替HPLC试剂使用等等）有时候会对色谱分离产生魔幻般的影响，这点不易察觉，特此谨记！
