1 、在生物化学、医学中，可对DNA 、RNA 电泳凝胶样品进行观察分析，检测蛋白质、核甘酸等。
2 、在制药工业中，可用来检查激素生物碱、维生素等能产生萤光的药品质量，特别适宜作薄层分析、纸层分析和检测。
3 、在化工、染料工业中，可鉴别不同种类的原油和橡胶制品，测定各种萤光材料、萤光指示剂、添加剂等。
