H2O2对环境无害－分解成氧气和水－对细菌孢子高度有效，并能有效杀死病毒、真菌和霉菌等。其消毒杀菌功能与现有的实验室使用的消毒剂*。 在消毒过程结束后， 汽化双氧水极易被还原成水和氧气,与其他灭菌方式相比无危害性的残留物， 对操作人员及环境没有危害；
