好景有时，相逢不迟——疫情影响下默克工艺解决方案致客户的一封信

Merck has always prided itself on the high levels of service we bring to our customers in our drive to help your success. We have many employees, from Account Managers to Tech Service, Customer Service, Field Service and other supporting functions, always ready to help respond to your questions and solve your problems.

With the recent increase in COVID cases across the country, we welcome the rapid action to control the outbreak. The requirement to isolate and test so many people does lead to some disruptions in our ability to move our people and goods around the country, however.  As well as this, we are also experiencing an increase in our employees involved in some type of lockdown.

随着近日全国新冠确诊病例增加，我们积极配合响应疫情控制行动。然而，疫情反复使我们在全国各地人员和货物的调配受到部分影响，部分地区因配合疫情控制而暂时进行封闭式隔离的员工数量也有所增加。

This means we expect our face-to-face services (Field Service, Account Manager visits, Scientist on-site trials, etc.) will be hit by disruption.  Even whilst we have teams across the country, we are still experiencing restrictions that, in some cases, do not allow us to visit your sites. Our services that are provided to you via telephone, WeChat etc, are unaffected at this time, although a slight disruption in from “working from home” might occur.

We have set up teams to minimize this disruption and ask for your flexibility in the modes of communication we will use – virtual meetings/virtual visits etc.

We are able, at this time, to maintain the flow of goods to your sites, as our national network of warehouses and logistics are not currently affected.  We do know that some cities are restricting the inward flow of goods, however.  This situation is very dynamic and unpredictable; be assured we have teams working on this, constantly, to ensure your deliveries are not affected.
