草履虫的遗传性状之一。在某一系统中具有杀死接合的对方细胞的性质，与一般放毒型相似，但是要杀死敏感者（对方）必须细胞接触。致配偶死亡的性状是细胞质遗传的，当细胞质中存在着能自我增殖的μ粒子，以及存在能保持μ粒子的核基因M 1 和 M 2 中的任何一个核基因时，就会成为能使配偶死亡的品系。在其他纤毛虫 Euplotes 中也发现有这种性状。
