适用范围

fransfer connections for liquid and vapor carbon dioxide are specified in this standard. They are intended for use with bulk liquid transport equipment such as cargo tanks, portable tanks, and railway tank cars, but do not apply to DOT-4L insulated cylinders or to ambient temperature vessels, such as uninsulated cylinders, tubes, and dry ice converters. Termination points at carbon dioxide production plants and on stationary storage ves- sels that directly interface with transport equipment are also included. The physical design of the fittings other than the connection configuration at the coupling point is beyond the scope of this standard.
