This standard describes procedures for deter-mining the fiber composition of mixtures of the fibers listed below. Procedures for the quan-titative estimate of the amount of moisture and certain nonfibrcus materials in textiles are also described for use in the analysis of mixtures, but these are not the primary methods
for d etermining the moisture content for commercial weights. The following fibers are included in this method:
(a) Cellulose Base Fibers: Acetate (secondary); Arnel (triacetate); Cotton; linen; Hemp; Ramie, Rayon; Cuprammonium; Rayon, Viscose.
(b) Polyacrylic Fibers: Acrilan; Dynel; Orlon.
? Polyester Fibers: Dacron.
(d) Polyndde Fibers: Nylon Nylon 66.
(e) Proten Fibers; Hair Fibers; Silk; Cultivated, Silk; Tussah; Viscara; Wool.
