- This British Standard specifies the installation (see note) of non-domestic gas-fired tumble dryers and rotary ironers burning 2nd and 3rd family gases. This standard is applicable to both fixed and tilting tumble dryers. The standard applies to open-flued laundry appliances only. NOTE For the purposes of this standard, installation includes design, inspection and commissioning. It is recognised that each of these tasks can be performed by the same person.
