Scope

This part of GB 1796 specifies the terms and definitions, model marks, structural types, types of parts, structural dimensions and materials, appearance, assembly torque, sealing performance, corrosion resistance, ozone resistance, Test methods, inspection rules, labeling, packaging and storage. This section applies to motorcycles, cars, light trucks, trucks and passenger cars with tubeless tire valves. This section does not apply to aviation tire valves.
