This standard specifies the determination of various isomers of DDT and HCH in drinking water and source water by packed column gas chromatography. This method is applicable to the determination of DDT and various isomers of HCH in drinking water and its source water. The minimum detection mass of this method: DDT is 6.0 pg, and the isomers of HCH are 2.0 pg. If a 500mL water sample is taken for determination, the minimum detection mass concentration of DDT is 0.03 μg/L, and HCH is 2.0 pg. The isomer is 0.008μg/L. Under the selected analysis conditions, this method has a good separation effect on various isomers of DDT and BHC with little interference.
