Scope

This code is applicable to various types of civil buildings, including residential buildings, office buildings, scientific and educational buildings, medical and health buildings, transportation, post and telecommunications buildings, cultural and sports assembly buildings and other public buildings. For newly-built, rebuilt and expanded civil buildings, their heating, ventilation and air-conditioning design shall comply with the relevant provisions of this code. Civil building air-conditioning systems include comfort air-conditioning systems and technological air-conditioning systems. Comfort air-conditioning system refers to the air-conditioning system that serves indoor personnel and aims to create a comfortable working or living environment to improve work efficiency or maintain a good level of health. Technological air-conditioning system refers to the air-conditioning system that mainly meets the technological requirements and supplements the comfort of indoor personnel. This specification does not apply to the design of buildings with special purposes, special purification and protection requirements, and temporary buildings. It is for some special requirements, special practices or special protection, and does not mean that the entire content of this specification They are not applicable to the design of these buildings, and some general provisions should be implemented by reference. For designs with special requirements, relevant national design specifications shall be implemented.
