1. Domaine d'application 1.1 La présente norme s'applique aux lampes à incandescence à culot à vis moyen fileté à droite pour éclairage général, destinées à être montées dans des luminaires et d'autres appareils d'éclairage conçus pour être utilisés conformément au Code canadien de l'électricité, Première partie. 1.2 Cette norme concerne notamment: (a) les détails de construction généraux; (b) la puissance en watts; (c) la résistance à la torsion; (d) la résistance d'isolement; (e) les essais d'endurance des lampes à redresseur incorporé; (f) les marquages et leur durabilité; (g) la température maximale du culot de lampe; et (h) la température maximale de profil de lampe. 1.3 Cette norme s'applique aux lampes à incandescence: (a) dont la puissance nominale est d'au plus 300 W; (b) dont la tension nominale est comprise entre 110 et 130 V; et (c) à culot à vis moyen E26/24 à simple contact, E26d à double contact ou E26/50x39 à culot chemisé. 1.4 Cette norme ne s'applique pas aux lampes désignées pour établissements industriels, bureaux, locaux d'exposition ou autres locaux à usage analogue. Exemples de types exclus: lampes à construction renforcée, antivibrations, à infrarouge industrielle, photographiques, de projecteur, de feux de circulation, solaires, de projecteur, de phare, d'enseigne, de types flood et spot, de négatoscope, à col réflecteur, à dôme réflecteur, de réverbère routier ou de chemin de fer, à lumière froide, à couleur naturelle, ainsi que les lampes dont la tension nominale n'est pas comprise entre 110 et 130 V. 1. Scope 1.1 This Standard applies to medium-screwbase incandescent lamps having right-hand threads that are intended for general lighting use in luminaires and other lighting equipment designed to be used in accordance with the Rules of the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I. 1.2 This Standard includes requirements for (a) general construction details; (b) wattage; (c) torsion resistance; (d) insulation resistance; (e) endurance testing of lamps with an integral voltage- rectifying device; (f) marking and durability of marking; (g) maximum lamp-base temperature; and (h) maximum lamp-profile temperature. 1.3 This Standard applies to incandescent lamps having (a) rated wattage up to and including 300 W; (b) rated voltage between 110 V and 130 V; and (c) an E26/24 single-contact, E26d double-contact, or E26/50x39 skirted medium screwbase. 1.4 This Standard does not apply to lamps designated for industrial establishments, offices, exhibit space, or like occupancies. Examples of excluded types are rough-service, vibration, mill, ind ustrial infrared, photographic, projector, traffic-signal, sunlamp, searchlight, headlight, sign, floodlight, spotlight, X-ray illuminator, neck-reflector, bowl-reflector, street-lighting, stre et-railway, cool beam, and natural-coloured lamps, and lamps having a nominal voltage rating not in the 110 - 130 V range. Other than Types BR, ER, R, and PAR.
