This standard contains the German version of the European Standard EN 55014-1 and is identical with the International Standard CISPR 14-1. It applies to the limitation of the radio-frequency emission of household appliances, electric tools and similar apparatus. In relation to the previous edition a clarification of the scope regarding emissions from radio transmitters was done, limits and measurement methods for the disturbance current were added, the operating conditions were shifted from the main part of the standard in the normative annex etc. Moreover operating conditions and set-ups for the measurement of robotic cleaners were added and further clarifications were done.
