Provision is made in the procedure for testing heavier-than-water fluids.Note 18212;For synthetic fluids, such as phosphate ester types, the plastic holder and beaker cover should be made of a chemically resistant material, such as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).1.2 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use.
