Dieser Teil der ISO 23553 legt die Anforderungen an Sicherheit, Konstruktion und Leistung sowie die Prufung von automatischen und halbautomatischen Ventilen fur Ol fest. Er gilt fur automatische und halbautomatische Ventile, die: als Schnellschlusseinrichtungen ausgelegt sind; in Verbrennungsanlagen eingesetzt werden, um den Oldurchfluss mit oder ohne Verzogerung des Schliesvorgangs sowie mit oder ohne Verzogerung des Offnungsvorgangs zu unterbrechen; fur den Einsatz mit Olsorten ohne Benzin (z. B. Diesel, Rohol, Schwerol oder Kerosin) vorgesehen sind; ANMERKUNG 1 Fur weitere Olsorten (z. B. Olemulsionen) konnen zwischen Hersteller und Prufstelle zusatzliche Prufverfahren vereinbart werden. ANMERKUNG 2 Olsorten aus Raffinerieprozessen sind klassifiziert als ISO-F-D nach ISO 8216-99 und bilden einen Teil einer Einrichtung mit (einer) anderen Funktion(en) z. B. Olpumpen. In diesem Fall gelten die Prufverfahren fur diejenigen Bauteile oder Komponenten der Einrichtung, die die automatischen und halbautomatischen Ventile bilden, d. h. die Bauteile, die fur die Schliesfunktion erforderlich sind; fur die Anwendung an Brennern oder in Geraten vorgesehen sind, die Ol nutzen; direkt oder indirekt elektrisch oder durch mechanische oder hydraulische Hilfsmittel betrieben werden; mit Anzeigen fur die Geschlossenstellung ausgestattet sind oder nicht. Dieser Teil der ISO 23553 behandelt nur die Typprufung.
