Esta Recomendación aborda el tema de la coordinación entre servicios entre redes del SRS que da el servicio a la Región 2 y redes del SFS que dan servicio a las Regiones 1 y/o 3 en toda la banda de frecuencias 17,3-17,8 GHz o en partes de la misma. Este tema surge como consecuencia de la introducción de la atribución primaria al SRS en la Región 2 a partir del 1 de abril de 2007 y de la actual atribución primaria al SFS (espacio-Tierra) en la Región 1 (17,3-17,8 GHz) y en la Región 3 (17,7-17,8 GHz). También contempla el tema de la coordinación dentro del servicio entre el SRS y las redes asociadas de enlaces de conexión en las bandas de frecuencias 17,3-17,8 GHz y 24,75-25,25 GHz o partes de las mismas. Se consideran las características representativas de las redes del SFS y del SRS para llevar a cabo un análisis técnico de los requisitos de coordinación.

La présente Recommandation traite de la question de la coordination interservices entre réseaux du service de radiodiffusion par satellite (SRS) desservant la Région 2 et réseaux du service fixe par satellite (SFS) desservant les Régions 1 et/ou 3 dans la totalité ou dans des parties de la bande de fréquences 17,3-17,8 GHz. Cette question résulte de l'introduction, à compter du 1er avril 2007, de l'attribution à titre primaire au SRS dans la Région 2 et de l'attribution existante faite à titre primaire au SFS (espace vers Terre) dans les Régions 1 (17,3-17,8 GHz) et 3 (17,7-17,8 GHz). Elle traite aussi de la question de la coordination intraservice entre le SRS et les réseaux de liaisons de connexion associés dans la totalité ou dans des parties des bandes de fréquences 17,3-17,8 GHz et 24,75-25,25 GHz. Les caractéristiques représentatives des réseaux du SFS et du SRS sont prises en considération en vue de procéder à une analyse technique des besoins de coordination.

Esta Recomendación aborda el dise?o y la coordinación de las nuevas redes del SRS en la Región 2 que utilizarán la atribución de la banda 17,3-17,8 GHz a dicho servicio que entró en vigor el 1 de abril de 2007. El Anexo 1 a la Recomendación proporciona análisis paramétricos detallados de los dos casos en que puede ser necesaria la coordinación con redes del SRS que utilizan la atribución mundial de la banda 17,3-17,8 GHz al SFS (Tierra-espacio) para los enlaces de conexión. La idea de fondo de la Recomendación es que puede no ser necesaria la coordinación si los resultados de estos análisis se tienen en cuenta en el dise?o de las redes del SRS en la Región 2 que van a utilizarse en esta nueva atribución al SRS.

This Annex identifies various factors affecting the choice of frequency bands for trans-horizon radio-relay systems. At first the optimum frequency range of a trans-horizon radio-relay link system is determined from propagation considerations, taking into account the antenna diameter and the transmitting power. Then, interference problems relating to frequency sharing with other systems, including line-of-sight radio-relay systems and space radiocommunication systems, are discussed.
