The standard describes the metrological requirements for energy efficiency in buildings. Incorporated are new insights and diverse publications on thermal comfort and comfort in rooms. Furthermore, a quality classification of temperature sensors for building automation is created that allows a more transparent comparison of temperature sensor systems in applications in buildings with regards to tenders, a better energy balancing of buildings and an optimal temperature sensor installation.
Temperature measurement for building automation - Basic principles
This guideline deals exclusively with temperature measurement for building automation. The fundamental principle is that technical safety requirements arising from health and safety, industrial safety and fire safety specifications are superordinate to temperature measurement. Where special guidelines exist that relate to particular subject area, they apply additionally. This guideline does not apply to ice monitors, radiation thermometers and bimetallic thermometers.
Temperature measurement for building automation - Basic principles
This standard is to establish uniform termonology and definition for filled thermal systems of remote sensing temperature regulators.
Standard Terminology and Definition for Filled Thermal Systems of Remote Sensing Temperature Regulators / Note: Approved 1993-08-10.
