Dieser Teil von ISO 15012 legt die allgemeinen Anforderungen an Lüftungsanlagen zur Kontrolle der beim Schweißen und bei verwandten Prozessen erzeugten Rauchemissionen fest. Dieser Teil gilt für die Konstruktion und Herstellung sämtlicher Teile der Anlage, einschließlich Abzugshauben, Lüftungskanäle, Filtereinheiten, Luftbewegungseinrichtungen und Warnsysteme zur Anzeige eines nicht sicheren Betriebs und eines gefährlichen Arbeitsplatzes, um ein sicheres Arbeiten bezüglich der Emissionsexposition sicherzustellen. In Abschnitt 4 sind wesentliche Gefährdungen aufgelistet. Er behandelt keine elektrischen, mechanischen und pneumatischen Gefährdungen. Dieser Teil von ISO 15012 gilt für das Folgende: lokale Absaugsysteme (LEV); bewegliche und stationäre Anlagen. Dieser Teil von ISO 15012 gilt nicht für das Folgende: allgemeine lüftungstechnische Anlagen, Luftaufbereiter oder Luftbewegungssysteme; Klimaanlagen; Abscheidung von Gasen, erzeugt bei oder verwendet für Schweiß- und verwandte Verfahren; LEV für Schweiß- und verwandte Verfahren, die reaktive, explosionsfähige Partikel und Atmosphären erzeugen; Schleifstaub. Dieser Teil von ISO 15012 gilt für Systeme, die nach Veröffentlichung dieser Norm konstruiert und hergestellt wurden.

Dieser Teil von ISO 15012 legt ein Verfahren fur die Prufung von Einrichtungen zum Abscheiden von Schweisrauch fest, um zu ermitteln, ob die Gerate die hinsichtlich der Abscheideleistung festgelegten Anforderungen erfullen. Das hier beschriebene Verfahren ist nicht anwendbar auf die Prufung von Filterpatronen bzw. -kassetten, losgelost von den Einrichtungen, in denen sie verwendet werden sollen. Dieser Teil von ISO 15012 gilt fur Maschinen, die nach Veroffentlichung dieser Norm hergestellt wurden.

This document deals with the significant hazards caused by the emission of welding fume particles from welding fume separation equipment operated according to its intended use and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer. This document specifies safety requirements concerning the separation of welding fumes and describes a method for determining the particle separation efficiency of welding fume separation equipment. This document does not deal with: — the hazards caused by gases emitted by welding, cutting and allied processes or by the welding fume separation equipment itself; — the hazards caused by the noise and vibrations of the welding fume separation equipment or — other fundamental aspects of safety technology, such as electrical, mechanical and pneumalical safety, maintenance, etc. This document applies to equipment that is manufactured after the issue of this document.
