Die vorliegende internationale Norm für Rohr-leitungsteile aus glasfaserverst?rkten, thermoh?rten-den Kunststoffen (GFK) legt die Nenndurchmesser, die Innen- oder Au?endurchmesser der Rohre und Form-stücke, sowie die Norml?ngen der Rohre fest. Sie ist auf runde Rohre aus thermoh?rtendem Harz mit faserf?rmiger Verst?rkung, mit oder ohne Füllstoffen versehen, anwendbar. Sie bezieht sich sowohl auf Rohre mit harzreicher oder thermoplastischer Innen-schicht, als auch auf Rohre ohne Thermoplastschicht. Die vorliegende internationale Norm legt keine Wand-dicken fest, und dies ist auch zu einem sp?teren Zeit-punkt nicht vorgesehen. Damit wird bezweckt, den Her-stellern volle Freiheit in der Wahl der Werkstoffe und dem Aufbau der Rohrleitungsteile zu lassen.

This International Standard specifies the nominal diameters, inside or outside diameters for pipes and fittings, and Standard lengths for pipes, of glass fibre reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP) materials. lt applies to circular pipes manufactured from a thermosetting resin with fibrous reinforcement with or without aggregate. lt applies to pipes both with and without a thermoplastic liner. This International Standard does not include any requirements for wall thickness and it is not intended to include such requirements at a later date. This is to allow the maximum possible freedom in the choice of materials and design. NOTE - Other dimensional requirements are under study.
