8.8.2 A device shall be subjected to the impact test as follows:

a) A device shall be dropped 0.91 m (3 ft) strikinga hardwood surface in the position most likely to produce adverse results. The hardwood surface shall consist of a layer of nominal 25 mm (1 in) thick tongue-and-groove oak flooring mounted on two layers of nominal 19 mm (3/4 in) thick plywood. The assembly shall rest on a concrete floor or an equivalent non-resilient floor during the test.

b) A device shall be dropped three times so that, in each drop, the sample strikes the surface in a position different from those in the other twodrops.

8.8.2  一个设备应该能承受如下的冲击测验：

A）一个设备将被从 0.91m（3 英尺）的高度下降冲击硬木地板最容易受损的部位。硬木表面由一层大约 25mm（1 英寸）厚的舌榫橡木地板安装在两层大约 19mm（3/4 英寸）厚的胶合板上。测试应该安装于混凝土地板上或等同的没有弹性的地板上。

B）一个设备应该被扔下 3 次，因此，样品撞击地板表面的三次应该撞击于不同的位置。
