Aluminum containing adjuvants include aluminum hydroxide adjuvants and aluminum phosphate adjuvants. Aluminum hydroxide is more widely used due to its own characteristics during use. Aluminum hydroxide adjuvant is used at 4.5 nm × 2.2 nm × Fibrous particles present at 10 nm, with an isoelectric point (ipe) of l1.4. This type of particle aggregates in loose l~10 lµ The form. of m size exists.

 

Aluminum adjuvants are effective against many different vaccine antigens in current vaccines, have excellent safety characteristics, are associated with minimal reactivity, and are inexpensive. In addition, their practical advantage lies in providing the possibility of creating a single liquid vial or pre filled syringe, which is more widely accepted by the market. In recent years, oil-in-water emulsions and liposomes such as MF59 and ASO3 have also been included in some approved human vaccine adjuvants, and more selected adjuvants are in different stages of discovery and development.

 

The two commonly used aluminum adjuvants in currently approved vaccines are aluminum hydroxide adjuvant (AH) and aluminum phosphate adjuvant (AP). AH and AP from different sources may have different physical, chemical, and biological characteristics.

目前已获批准的疫苗中常用的两种铝佐剂是氢氧化铝佐剂(AH)和磷酸铝佐剂(AP),不同来源的AH和AP可能在物理、化学和生物特性上有所不同。

OZ Biosciences氢氧化铝疫苗佐剂的应用:

氢氧化铝通过释放Th2相关细胞因子(IL2,IL-4,IL-5...)和Th13相关抗体(IgG2和IgE)刺激Th1反应。它增加Ag特异性CD4 + T细胞增殖并促进NALP3炎症小体活化和半胱天冬酶1介导的IL-1和IL-18释放。

推荐的FOR:刺激Th2反应,抗体产生。

OZ Biosciences的VaxOZ佐剂仅用于研究用途。
