What is ISO 2386 on Packed cork about?   ISO 2386 is an international standard that covers guidelines for various types of packed corks.    ISO 2386 specifies a method for the determination of the moisture content of packed cork, either virgin cork, raw reproduction cork, burnt cork, boiled reproduction cork, or raw cork waste.   ISO 2386 specifies technicalities like terms, definitions, the principle and apparatus for the test, test procedure as well as calculation and expression of results for determination of moisture content of the different types of packed corks.
