1. This specification sets forth requirements relating to the construct-ion, performance and testing of boiling-plates for domestic purposes which are intended for operation at voltages not exceeding 250 volts. The boiling-plates covered by this specification are of two types : (i) cast-iron enclosed-type boiling-plate and (ii) sheathed-element type boiling-plate. Grill boilers are not covered by this specification.
