This Korean Industrial Standard specifies the temperature limiters(1) (hereinafter referred to as th "limiters") used to prevent overheating of hot water boiler, petroleum compact instantaneous water heater and heat exchangers and the temperature controller^) (hereinafter referred to as the "controller") used to control the hot water temperature. However, it is limited to measure temperature of hot water by inserting thermal sensors to the body of boilers.
Note (1) Temperature Limiters
When the temperature of thermal sensing part reaches to the set temperature, it opens the connecting points automatically or show the combustion stop signal for the purpose of overheating prevention. The reversion shall be established by a device operated manually or by connection to another manual reversible device. (2) Temperature Controller
When the temperature of thermal sensing part reaches to the set temperature, it opens the contact automatically or originates the combustion stop signal. As the temperature drops, it closes the contact automatically or originates the combustion stop signal
