1.1.1 This European Standard defines the different types of inspection documents supplied to
the purchaser, in accordance with the requirements of the order, for the delivery of metallic products.
1.1.2 However, if agreed in the order, it may also apply to other products.
1.1.3 This standard is to be used in conjunction with the standards which specify the general
technical delivery conditions:
— for iron and steel products, see EN 10 021;
— for steel castings see ISO 4990.
1.1.4 The contents of the inspection documents for the delivery of iron and steel products are
defined in Euronorm 168.
