MAC addresses described hereare defined using the Ethernet/ISO8802-3 [ISO/IEC 8802-3] convention as bit-little-endian. The CMTS MUST use the "All CMs Multicast MAC Address" to address the set of all CMs; for example, when transmitting Allocation Map PDUs. The CM MUST accept all traffic received with the "All CMs Multicast MAC Address".
