一、水平垂直燃烧测定仪适用范围：

    在实验室内，对水平和垂直方向放置的试样用小火焰点火燃后的燃烧性能的试验方法

    GB/T 2408塑料燃烧性能试验方法 水平法和垂直法、

    GB4609垂直燃烧法

    GB5455纺织物─阻燃性能测定─垂直法的

    主要技术指标，并在了解吸收国内进口燃烧性测试仪器的基础上，结合我国实情研制的。

三、水平垂直燃烧测定仪该仪器的特点：

    是外形美观、大方、传动平稳、结构紧凑、调整范围大，施加火焰时间采用自动控制，并没有电子打火装置，操作方便。所得结果可靠，为研  究阻燃材料提供依据，以及将各种材料相互对比和分级。

四、水平垂直燃烧测定仪定义：

   1、垂直燃烧法：可测定材料在接触引燃源时的燃烧性能，包括熄灭时间，火焰蔓延的范围及时间，以及由于该材料的燃烧行为是否引起  其它物质的燃烧方法，对材料进行对比及耐燃分级。

   2、水平燃烧法：适用于常温时，一端固定后能水平支撑，另一端下垂不大10mm的塑料试样或其它自支撑材料的质量控制试验和燃烧性的分类试验。是控制材料耐燃质量和评价产品的有力手段。

   3、纺织织物─阻燃性能测定─垂直法：规定了一种测定各种阻燃处理织物阻燃性能的试验方法，可用以测定织物阻止燃烧及炭化的倾向。用于有阻燃要求的服装织物、装饰织物、帐蓬织物等阻燃发生性能的测定。

   4、有焰燃烧

在规定的试验条件下，移开点火源后，材料火焰持续的燃烧。

   5、有焰燃烧时间

在规定的试验条件下，移开点火源后，材料持续有焰燃烧的时间。

   6、无焰燃烧

在规格的试验条件下，移开点火源后，当有焰燃烧终止或无火焰产生时材料保持辉光的燃烧。

   7、无焰燃烧时间

在规格的试验条件下，当有焰燃烧终止或移开点火源后，材料持续无焰燃烧的时间。

五、原理

    水平或垂直地夹住试样一端，对试样自由端施加规定的气体火焰，通过测量线性燃烧速度（水平法）或有焰燃烧及无焰燃烧时间（垂直法）等来评价试样的燃烧性能。

六、技术指标：

   1、试样尺寸：

试样尺寸长（125±5）mm，宽（13.0±0.3）mm，厚（3.0±0.2）mm

经有关各方协商，也可采用其他厚度，但最大厚度不应超过13mm，并应在试验报告中注明。

注：厚度、密度、各向异性材料的方向、颜料、填料及阻燃剂种类和含量不同一的试样，其试验结果不能相互比较。

  2、环境温度（标准要求）：（23±2）℃ 

     相对湿度：（50±5）%

  3、供电电压和功率：220V±10%、50HZ、100W；

  4、气源：

工业级甲烷气或其他燃料气体（如家用液化石油气，天然气，煤气等）

  5、仪器外型尺寸约：

长720mmⅹ宽370mmⅹ高850mm；

  6、计时装置：

     精确至1ｓ

  7、测厚仪或测微计：

精确至0.01 mm

  8、最好使用医用脱脂棉；

  9、本生灯对试样施加火焰时间分三档：10ｓ、12ｓ、30ｓ；

  10、 实验室燃烧器（本生灯）：

筒长为（100±10）mm；内径为（9.5±0.3）mm；

  11、 本生灯倾斜45°（也可调）。
