Variable-Speed Test Stands can be used for a wide range of ASTM tests.
 Stands feature a front panel emergency stop button, all rocker 
switch operation, and up/down crosshead jog control. The two line 
message central displays both speed and deflection in metric or 
English units along with the direction the tester is running, and 
when limit switches are tripped. 
Stands also include a shunt-wound; DC gear motor drive with dynamic
 brake; motor controls with on/off and up/down switches; high-speed 
return switch; adjustable limit switch; adjustable rubber-surfaced 
feet; balance level; overforce protection; and a 6-ft power cord 
with three-prong plug. Four strong anodized aluminum king posts 
stand 8" apart. Stands measure 12"W x 36"H x 11"D (5000-lb capacity 
models measure 42"H).
