Identification of Steroid Hormone-Regulated Genes in Breast Cancer
关键词: identification steroid来源: 互联网
The measurement of the expression of hormonally regulated genes in breast cancer may provide an indication of its hormone responsiveness. In addition, these genes may provide novel therapeutic targets. This chapter reviews the hormonally responsive genes that have been identified in breast cancer cell lines and tumors, using differential hybridization, differential display, serial analysis of gene expression, and array technology. The biological relevance of the genes identified is discussed.
