信号识别颗粒(signal recognition partical, SRP)

SRP是一种核糖核酸蛋白复合体,沉降系数为11S,含有分子量为72kDa、68kDa、54kDa、19kDa、14kDa及9kDa的6条多肽和一个7S(长约300个核苷酸)的scRNA。
SRP上有三个功能部位: 翻译暂停结构域(P9/P14)、信号肽识别结合位点(P54)、SRP受体蛋白结合位点(P68/P72)。因此, SRP能够识别刚从游离核糖体上合成出来的信号肽,并与之结合,暂时中止新生肽的合成,同时与内质网上的停靠蛋白结合,使核糖体附着到内质网膜上,并进行新生肽的转移。SRP对正在合成的其它蛋白质无作用,这些游离核糖体也就不能附着到内质网膜上。
