Safeline X-ray Scoops Second Queen's Award

We're pleased to announce that Safeline X-ray has received a second Queen's Award for Enterprise, this time in the Innovation category. Few companies hold multiple Queen's Awards concurrently so we're especially proud after previously winning a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category in 2013.
The prestigious Queen's Awards for Enterprise are presented to UK businesses that outshine others in one of four categories: international trade, innovation, sustainable development and promoting opportunity.
Safeline X-ray's Innovation award was presented in recognition of our X-Series x-ray inspection systems which have been designed to help food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturers boost brand protection and consumer well-being, as well as lower production costs. All Systems share technical innovations and design philosophy that was initially introduced on the X33 in 2012 to satisfy increasing customer demands. These include:
New high sensitivity detector technology which enables x-ray generator power to be reduced from 100 Watts to 20 Watts while achieving the same, or sometimes better, contaminant detection compared to previous systems.
Improved user ergonomics and hygienic design to allow easy cleaning.
In addition, the X3750 incorporates a patented image processing technique developed specifically to improve the detection of glass contamination inside glass containers.

To mark this achievement, representatives from Safeline X-ray have been invited to a Royal reception at Buckingham Palace, hosted by Her Majesty The Queen later this year. Additionally, the company will be visited by a Royal representative and presented with a commemorative trophy.
Safeline Ltd also won a Queen's Award in the Innovation category in 2016 for its Profile family of metal detectors. The award followed the Queen's Award for Enterprise: International Trade which was presented to the company in 2012. Winners of this category must demonstrate substantial international growth in overseas earnings and commercial success within their sector.
