This SAE Recommended Practice indicates the location of the cast wheel mounting lug and the wheel disc on the rim in relation to the centerline of the tire. PURPOSE The information contained herein is intended to provide a guide for vehicle manufacturers@ wheel makers@ and rim makers@ and to propose a minimum number of wheel and rim offsets to be included in the vehicle operator's stock.
