1. SCOPE 1.1 This standard applies to a latex primer-sealer for use on previously
unpainted interior surfaces such as dry plaster (having a moisture content of
not more than 12% as indicated by a moisture meter), plasterboard, wallboard,
wood and on previously painted porous surfaces with a flat finish. Normally
this primer-sealer may be topcoated 3 h after application. 1.2 The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require
the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous. This document
does not purport to address all the safety aspects associated with its use.
