1 Scope O132.2.0 1.1 This Standard provides quality, dimension, and terminology criteria for the principal types, sizes, and constructions of wood flush doors. Requirements are given for wood veneer, plywood, high pressure decorative laminate, hardboard, and composition faces; adhesives; core constructions; moisture content; dimensions and tolerances; and face panel grading descriptions. Provisions are made for identifying construction and type of adhesive bond grade marking on each door on a voluntary basis or as specified by the purchaser. A glossary of trade terms and definitions is also provided. O132.2.1 1.1 This Standard provides quality, dimension, and terminology criteria for the principal types, sizes, grades, and constructions of solid core wood flush doors. Requirements are given for core materials, stiles, rails, edge bands, and face panels. Because of constant technological changes and product improvements in component parts used by door manufacturers, industry standards referenced in this document may become outdated. This Standard is under constant review so that changes and improvements such as these can be evaluated, recognized, and incorporated as quickly as possible. It is the intent of this Standard to provide requirements for doors consistent with industry practices and technical advances. 1.2 Any door manufactured conforming to this Standard shall also conform to CSA Standard O132.2.0. O132.2.2 1.1 This Standard provides quality, dimension, and terminology criteria for the principal types, sizes, grades, and constructions of hollow core wood flush doors. Requirements are given for core materials, stiles, rails, edge bands, and face panels. Because of constant technological changes and product improvements in component parts used by door manufacturers, industry standards referenced in this document may become outdated. This Standard is under constant review so that changes and improvements such as these can be evaluated, recognized, and incorporated as quickly as possible. It is the intent of this Standard to provide requirements for doors consistent with industry practices and technical advances. 1.2 Any door manufactured conforming to this Standard shall also conform to CSA Standard O132.2.0. O132.2.3 1.1 This Standard provides testing, measurement, and inspection criteria for the principal types, sizes, grades, and constructions of wood flush doors. Requirements are given for Type I and Type II Adhesive Bond Tests. Provisions are made for identifying construction and type of adhesive bond grade marking each door on a voluntary basis or as specified by the purchaser. Because of constant technological changes and product improvements in component parts used by door manufacturers, industry standards referenced in this document may become outdated . This Standard is under constant review so that changes and improvements such as these can be evaluated, recognized, and incorporated as quickly as possible. It is the intent of this Standard to provide requirements for doors consistent with industry practices and technical advances. 1.2 Production Inspections and Tests During the process of manufacturing wood flush doors, the manufacturer shall make such inspections and tests as are needed to maintain the quality of the wood flush doors with all applicable re quirements of this Standard. O132.2.4 1.1 This Standard establishes hardware locations for the following solid and hollow core wood flush doors: 1-3/8 in(34.9 mm) and 1-3/4 in (44.4 mm) thick x 6 ft 8 in (2032 mm) and 7 ft 0 in(2134 mm) high. 1.2 This Standard provides quality, dimension, and terminology criteria for hardware locations on wood flush doors. Requirements are given for measurement, handing, hinge, and lock location. A glossary of trade terms and definitions is provided.
