This Gulf standard specifies general requirements for the basic technical specifications of line shaft vertical turbine pumps intended for use in pumping water from wells at normal temperatures and salinity (as specified in the Gulf standard mentioned in 2.2) consisting of a discharge pipe diameter of up to and including 400 mm.
