Full Description This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies requirements for the safe design and information for use of electric wheel-driven wheelchairs with convertible chair for indoor movement equipped with a seat elevating mechanism and swivel mechanism, that are designed so as to allow users to slide into the seat from the rear side of the chair (hereafter referred to as the horse riding style electric wheelchairs).
