EN 1991-1-7 provides actions and rules for safeguarding buildings and other civil engineering works against identifiable accidental actions, as well as rules and actions for tying systems. EN 1991-1-7 defines: - strategies and actions based on identified accidental actions; - actions for tying systems. Rules on impact from vehicles travelling on a bridge deck are given in EN 1991-2. Identified accidental actions such as impact from vehicles and internal explosions are specified in 5 and 6 of EN 1991-1-7.
