适用范围

(l)P Part 1-2 is concerned with buildings. It contains general rules for the earthquake-resistant design of buildings and shall be used in conjunction with Parts 1-1 and 1-3. (2)P Whereas guidance on base-isolated buildings is not given in the code, the use of base-isolation is not precluded, provided special studies are undertaken.
