Measurements of the electrical properties of electronic tubes and valves. Part 27: Methods of measurement for inter modulation products in transmitting tubes
This recommendation deals with measurements of intermodulation products of importance in single side-band, multiplex, independent carrier and other signal processing applications of radiofrequency linear amplifier tubes. Several methods of measurement are known, e.g. : — the two-frequency method; — the three-frequency method; — the simulated Gaussian noise method. This recommendation is concerned with the two-frequency method.
