- Weighting scales suitable for the quantity measurement of materials in connection with power tests are available in a variety of forms which will be discussed in the ensuing text. Although selection of a particular type, capacity or design of weighting facility may be dictated of suggested by the practical conditions of intended use, it should be guided also by consideration of several basic factors relating to the design, construction and performance of weighting scales in general.
