- The standard contains graphical symbols for use on equipment in order to operate sewing machines of any kind. This collection of symbols has the purpose to give guidance for the meaning or handling of the graphical symbols in use to persons who operate sewing machines. All graphical symbols mentioned in this standard correspond with the rules for presentation according DIN ISO 3461 part 1. Each graphical symbol is accompanied with a title in german english language as well as with a number according to DIN 30600.
