Dimensions of rail joint insulations of both solid and side plate type, applicable to British Standard bull head and flat-bottom rails, together with the insulations for sole plates, stretcher bars and rod joints. Typical arrangements and shapes of rail insulations are illustrated. Appendices give information on rail insulations for superseded rail sections, guidance on modifications to end posts necessary to reduce effects of metallic dust, etc.
