This part of BS 7843 gives specifications for the construction of three types of storage raingauges and two sizes of rain measures which should be used with them. A broad comparison of the sizes and shapes of the three types of storage raingauge specified in BS 7843 is given, and the detailed construction of these three types of raingauge, together with that of the associated rain measures, is specified.
