This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of die forgings and forging stock ordered to inch/pound units. MAM 4141A is the metric version of this AMS. These forgings have been used typically for parts requiring good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking but with lower strength than AMS 4139, but usage is not limited to such applications.
