适用范围

This European Standard specifies a test method (phase 2, step 1) and requirementsactivity against bacteriophages of chemical disinfectants that form a homogeneous, phyhard water and that are used in food and industrial areas, excluding areas and situmedically indicated and excluding products used on living tissues.This European Standard applies at least toThe following:a) processing, distribution and retailing of: 1)food of animal origin: 一milk and milk products; 一meat and meat products; 一fish, seafood, andTheir products; 一eggs and egg products; 一animal feeds; 一etc.; 2) food of vegetable origin: 一beverages; 一fruits, vegetables andTheir derivatives (including sugar, distillery…); 一flour, milling and baking; 一animal feeds;forThe minimum virucidalIn .15b) other industrial areas: 一biotechnology (yeast, proteins, enzymes,…).UsingThis European Standard, it is not possible to determineThe virucidal activity against bacteriophages ofundiluted product as some dilution is always produced by addingThe inoculum and interfering substance.For chemical disinfectants that can be used without dilution it is not possible to determine whetherThese products,at a concentration above 80%have a virucidal activity against bacteriophages.NOTE The method described is intended to determineThe activity of commercial formulations or active substances onviruses (bacteriophages) inThe conditions in whichThey are used.This European Standard is applicable only to disinfectants, complying withThe validation test (see annex A).
