This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies lifting platforms and wheelchair lifting tables of vertical lifting type,mainly used inside or around a resident,with a lifting stroke not exceeding 2 m and a maximum load of less than 250 kg,intended for such persons as requiring aid of wheelchair or having difficulties going up/down stairs unassisted.
